Our Tipis in Essex

We have a variety of tipi sizes available, which can be combined to suit the size and specifications of your event.  

Giant Hat Tipi

Raw Tipis is happy to bring the Giant Hat Tipi to your Essex event. This is our largest tipi and it can accommodate up to 80 people with the sides raised (with furniture) or 50 people with the sides lowered. This tipi is 10.3m wide with the sides lowered or 12.9 with the sides raised.

Midi Hat Tipi

Smaller than the Giant Hat but still as impressive. Hold your Essex spectacular event in the Midi Hat Tipi for up to 50 people with the sides raised (with furniture) or 35 people with the sides lowered. This tipi is 8.8m wide with the sides lowered or 10.9 with the sides raised.

Mini Hat Tip

The smallest of the lot, the Mini Hat Tipi is 5.5m wide and works perfectly with the other tipi sizes as additional shelter. Perfect for up to 20 people.

What’s Included?

Once you have chosen the perfect tipi to accommodate your guests, we can help you furnish your event to suit your needs. All of our tipis are completed with flooring (suitable for heels) and fairy lighting and our furniture is made in our workshop from reclaimed materials, purchased from local antique fairs, or acquired from sustainable suppliers, meaning it is completely unique. You can choose the bar that best suits your floor plan, a variety of lighting, casual seating, bar seating, indoor and outdoor fire pits, and decorations on our website. Can you help organise toilets and generators?

Yes, we have a number of toilet and generator supplies for each area, from portaloos to shepherd hut toilets and silent generators we are here to make sure booking suppliers is easy and stress-free.

When do you set the tipis up?

This all depends on the tipi set up and what is agreed but usually, we put up the tipis 1 to 3 days before the event to allow you plenty of time to add the finishing touches and we take down the event a day or two after the event has finished. For example, we’ll set up on Thursday for your Saturday and take down the tipis on the following Monday.
